You can rent a car or arrange a driver through Who What Where Tours
Directions from Alaska Highway Northbound (or turn right leaving airport):
- On Alaska Highway North, travel 13.8 km past Whitehorse airport
- Turn right on to Klondike Highway North, travel 15.6 km
- Turn right on to Policeman’s Point Road, travel 1.1 km to our gate
All our cottages are self-catering so please make plans to get groceries before arriving.
What to Bring
Overall dress is very casual in Whitehorse.
Pack for winter:
scarf or neckwarmer
warm jacket
sweater
long underwear
mittens
hat
warm socks
boots or sturdy walking shoes
Not used to snow and winter? No problem, you can arrange warm outdoor clothing rentals in advance.
You’ll need to contact Men’s World: https://mensworld.ca/
Rental includes boots, snowpants, warm parka, hat, mitts. You’ll want to bring a scarf or neck warmer.
Don’t forget your DSLR camera with the capacity to change ISO settings, aperture and exposure time … and camera tripod
